Per recommendation from Governor Janet Mills, and in an effort to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), many upcoming performances at Merrill Auditorium have been cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled.
In addition, PortTIX and Merrill are closed to the public. We are available by phone at 207-842-0800, as well as via email. For assistance with affected performances, please call or Email Us. Please note we are only able to process requests for tickets purchased directly through the PortTIX box office.
We are excited to many virtual events on sale, plus a socially distant Holiday Express train ride with Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad! Click below to browse our new offerings.
Questions about when and how venues will re-open? You will have information about the safety practices in place before you attend an event. Event staff at all venues are working closely with city and local officials to determine best practices for when and how venues reopen. For updates please bookmark this page or join our email list.
Below is a current list of affected events (please note, this is not a full list of all previous cancellations).
- THE FLYING DUTCHMAN (Cancelled)
- NATE BARGATZE (Rescheduled)
- SHEN YUN (Rescheduled)
- KEVIN JAMES (POSTPONED)
- Portland Ovations’ ALAN CUMMING & ARI SHAPIRO (Rescheduled)
Please allow up to 30 days to process your request (we need to process your request manually and we are taking time to make sure it is done accurately and securely).
As a simple security precaution, any PortTIX staff member contacting you about your order will verify your order number and order details with you before requesting any personal information from you. Any staff member will be happy to answer any questions you have to confirm this is a legitimate call.
If you have questions about other upcoming shows you might have tickets to, rest assured we will keep you updated as soon as we receive any updates. Our promoters and venues are making decisions based on state and local government guidance.
The health and safety of our patrons, performers, and the community are of the utmost importance to us. We encourage everyone to take extra precautions as outlined by the CDC here. For more information on the novel coronavirus in Maine, please check the Maine CDC site here, call 211, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We appreciate your understanding during this situation. Thank you for trusting us with your ticketing needs.
