Due to the worldwide public health concerns surrounding coronavirus, after many conversations Portland Ovations is cancelling its upcoming performance by Shanghai-based artists GuGu Drum Group on Thursday, February 13, 2020. The artists have not left China. Given the lengthy incubation period of this virus, we do not want to do anything to put our community at risk or create unnecessary concern. We support these extraordinary artists and are very saddened by this unexpected turn of events. We hope you understand.
We have every hope of re-engaging GuGu Drum Group at a later date, however that information is not yet available.
Ticket buyers can take advantage of one of the following options no later than FEBRUARY 28, 2020.
EXCHANGE YOUR TICKETS
BEST DEAL: Exchange your tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining show in our season, with the exceptions of: The Illusionists, Blue Man Group, Chicago, or the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.
TURN BACK YOUR TICKET AS A DONATION TO PORTLAND OVATIONS
NEXT BEST: Turn back your tickets as a donation to Portland Ovations, which is working with national artist support groups to support the GuGu Drum Group artists in this challenging time.
REFUND YOUR TICKET
If none of the above options work for you, you may request a refund of the ticket price if none of the above options will work for you. (PortTIX fees are non-refundable).
