Check out our “Wings” inspired playlist!

The Kotzschmar Organ will be showing Wings on Friday, Augst 23rd at 7:00pm at Merrill Auditorium

This epic World War I-era silent film was the first Academy Award-winning Best Picture in 1929. Boston organist Peter Krasinski, who specializes in the art of live improvised silent film accompaniment worldwide, will put the music to the film.

As a bonus, more than a dozen rare World War I artifacts will be on display. They were discovered just this year in a forgotten suitcase by Steve Etzel as he was searching through the attic of his childhood home in Farmington, Maine. The suitcase had belonged to his grandfather.
